Based near Totnes, Devon, Hugo is a registered Architect with close to twenty years of experience gained from his own work and from working at renowned practices such as Gillespie Yunnie and Jonathan Rhind Architects. He is committed to sustainable construction and low energy design, and works on a wide range of project types, budgets and scales, from contemporary, new build, low energy homes, to the renovation of a listed medieval farmhouse, to house extensions or smaller projects such as a garden courtyard and sauna. All projects have an exciting design challenge and require bespoke solutions.
Hugo provides a professional, personal service and works with a trusted network of consultants and skilled builders to deliver beautiful projects, that will be enjoyed for generations.
Hugo works mainly across the south west of England, including the Isles of Scilly.
Hugo is also a director of the Broadhempston Community Land Trust; a self-build project where he and his wife self-built their straw bale house, along with five other families, and where they now live.
